Black Dot is a dynamic organization based in Seattle, Washington, focused on fostering the growth and success of Black entrepreneurs, creatives, and technologists. Founded in 2015, it originated from a project called Hack the CD, aimed at providing a supportive and culturally resonant space for members of the African diaspora to build businesses and community ties​. Black Dot is deeply rooted in the local community, offering a safe space where Black entrepreneurs can navigate unique challenges such as access to capital, business acumen, and affordable commercial space.
